About us

Nestled on 25 picturesque acres in the scenic Mudgee Valley, our beautiful historic house is just 2 hours from the Blue Mountains, 3.5 hours from Sydney, and only 6 minutes from Mudgee’s centre.

The property was acquired by Peter (Mit) and Margaret Loneragan in 1947 and remains in the family to this day, now run by their grandchildren. The exquisite gardens, designed in the 1950s in collaboration with renowned designer Paul Sorensen, feature a wisteria-draped pergola, a romantic moon gate, and a formal rose parterre with a fountain — perfect for an inviting, serenely beautiful stroll.

Our historic venue is ideal for weddings, offering customizable packages and homestead accommodations. Choose from a variety of packages or create one tailored to your specific needs and requirements. For lovers of elegant, historic settings, Putta Bucca House provides a stunning and memorable backdrop for any celebration.
